Zanetti: “Per la salvezza c’è anche il Verona. Oggi mattoncino importante per il nostro percorso”

Paolo Zanetti, allenatore del Verona, ha parlato a Dazn dopo la vittoria a Firenze. Queste le sue parole: “Di partite importanti ne avevamo fatte tanto ma non eravamo concreti ma ci abbiamo sempre creduto e in certi momenti si tira fuori qualcosa di più. Fare sei punti con Atalanta e Fiorentina è tanta roba. Oggi sapevamo la difficoltà della partita contro una squadra più attrezzata di noi. Abbiamo saputo soffrire e la voglia di segnare. E’ una vittoria che fa capire che per la salvezza c’è anche il Verona”. Orban si è fatto perdonare. “Sono molto contento per lui. Nelle ultime partite non aveva giocato perché aveva bisogno delle caratteristiche di Mosquera, ma ho sempre detto che era un giocatore importante. Oggi Gift ha messo un bel mattoncino sul nostro percorso”. Quanto è importante Al Musrati? “Per un paio di mesi non lo abbiamo avuto per infortunio ma è un ragazzo che viene a sostituire un giocatore importante come Duda. Viene da piazze importanti, ha la personalità giusta e ci sta dando una grossa mano. Poi Bernede è stato stratosferico”. Come si mantiene la calma? “Fa piacere dopo aver mangiato un po’ di…cioccolata, vedere i tifosi entusiasti. Ma io rimango molto cauto: è un altra partita che dice che noi ci siamo per la salvezza ma la classifica resta deficitaria e il calendario è difficile. Dobbiamo restare sul pezzo e lavorare con umiltà”. Mosquera fa giocare bene la squadra. “Lui per caratteristiche deve far salire la squadra perché ha tanta forza e la sta ulteriormente migliorando con il lavoro. Io penso che Giovane, Orban e Sarr stanno bene accanto a lui che è un riferimento, più di Orban e Sarr”. Perché è stato espulso? “L’espulsione ci sta, ho sbracciato un po’ troppo, ma la gestione dei cartellini è stata particolare: ogni fallo era un cartellino”.
