McKennie resta in scadenza: quel rinnovo a un passo e poi il silenzio

Weston McKennie ha dimostrato di essere utile e prezioso anche nelle Juventus di Spalletti. La duttilità è la sua principale virtù, con Thiago Motta ha giocato anche una partita da centravanti, se andasse in porta o facesse il difensore centrale avrebbe praticamente coperto tutti i ruoli. Il tecnico della Fiorentina Paolo Vanoli ha parlato in conferenza stampa alla vigilia del match contro il Losanna: “Non ci penso al mio futuro, penso al bene della Fiorentina e stiamo facendo il massimo per quello. Il mio futuro deve rimanere in secondo piano.Contro l’Hellas abbiamo avuto cinque occasioni e dobbiamo guardare queste cose, ma dobbiamo essere più bravi a concretizzare ed evitare di prendere gol. Quello che stiamo facendo non basta, dobbiamo fare di più anche per la nostra gente. Dobbiamo però vedere anche in maniera più positiva, cercare un risultato che ci dia una spinta e autostima. Riguardo agli infortuinati, Robin non ha avuto una ricaduta ma un fastidio sopra al polpaccio e valutiamo di giorno in giorno così come il problema alla caviglia di Fazzini”.
